Chris Elliott is a partner who has practiced family law and domestic relations litigation at Caldwell, Carlson, Elliott & DeLoach for over 20 years. Chris is recognized for his determined advocacy and compassion for individuals and families experiencing the often volatile terrain of complex divorce litigation.
Chris has devoted his legal career to assisting clients in a broad range of domestic matters. He has successfully litigated hundreds of cases in the areas of divorce, modifications of custody and support, parental rights, compliance and contempt, paternity and legitimation, and the preparation and enforcement of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Chris has represented many prominent figures that include professional athletes, actors, musicians, and business leaders throughout the state. Of note, Chris and his partner Harmon Caldwell obtained a $316,000 attorney’s fees award for their client following a two-week jury trial in Dougherty County, Georgia, which has been recognized as the largest fee award ever granted in a domestic relations case tried in that county.
Chris received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University in 1996 and graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1999. Chris is active in his community and has been awarded numerous professional honors and recognitions, including having been recognized repeatedly in Atlanta and Georgia Super Lawyers magazines as one of the premier divorce attorneys in the state.
Chris is the youngest of five siblings and has a strong commitment to family, currently residing in Roswell with his wife, Christine, and their two boys, Mason and Connor.
